The Cleaning Process
The solutions used in our process cause the soil to change its properties, breaking down the particles to approximately two microns. Capillary action removes the soil from the pores as well as the surface. The activated solution contains a variety of ingredients intended to attack the specific soil types we work on. The soil is instantly loosened and starts to fall with the mist.
Our disinfecting and sanitizing process removes contamination from porous and non-porous surfaces:

Acoustical Ceilings
Acoustical ceilings are designed to absorb sound, but in all reality they absorb everything. Dirt, smoke, organic matter and RSP’s to VOC’s. These minute air borne toxins are not visible to the naked eye; giving the false impression the ceiling is clean. As an option for any visible soil, we offer a vent & diffuser area clean which includes the vents, diffusers and the surrounding tiles that will bring a nice touch to any facility.
Vinyl Sheetrock (Gypsum)
These “code” ceilings are required in food service areas, clean rooms and restrooms. Vinyl faced sheetrock ceilings can actually last the lifetime of a building when properly maintained. But with time vinyl sheetrock ceilings will collect dirt, grease, food particles and many other microbial molecules. SMS is able to chemically restore these ceilings at literally a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Overheads, Rafters & Upper Decking
Indoor dust commonly consists of dead skin cells, decaying organic matter, fibers and minerals from outdoor soil. Overtime, dust can become static and so thick that it has a hair/fur like quality. Besides having unappealing and dark looking surfaces an extraordinary number of dust mites are present. Dust mites are the leading causes of indoor air allergies and Asthma. This is a needed service in many commercial and industrial facilities.

Repairs
- Grid Leveling & Reinforcing - Factors like age, excessive weight, new tile or fixture installations and overhead mechanical work can negatively affect drop ceiling systems. Grid leveling and grid wire reinforcement is needed to create a safe and sound ceiling system.
- Ceiling Tile Replacement – Complete or partial - we may be able to match existing tiles.
- Faux Tin Thermoplastic Ceiling Tiles – Classic or contemporary tiles that mimic tin ceilings, includes matching grid cover finish.
- Etch, Prime & Top Coat – Refinish the grid, diffusers, vents & other fixtures of your choosing. For drop ceilings that have multiple generations of tile (checkerboard effect), Ceiling Resurfacing is the perfect option to brighten up and uniform these ceilings at half the replacement costs.

Grid Cover Installation
Vinyl covers for the ceiling grid that has become rusted, worn, outdated or discolored with age. The components snap over the existing grid for a fresh new look.
